A laundry list of things for Democrats to keep and to dump if they ever want to win again nationwide.

Keep a woman’s right to choose for the first trimester. Dump abortion until birth unless the mother’s health is at risk.

Keep a concern for climate change and grow nuclear power. Dump intermittent, unreliable renewable energy.

Keep and develop new effective vaccines. Dump vaccine mandates.

Keep equality of opportunity for all. Dump equity of results based on discriminating against men, whites and Asians (aka D.E.I.). Recognize that D.E.I. Is unconstitutional.

Keep the protection of gay and lesbian rights. Dump men in women’s sports, private spaces and prisons. Oh, and mutilating children who might grow up to be gay.

Keep an opportunity for selective high value immigration. Dump sanctuary cities and open borders.

Keep helping the homeless find jobs and a place to live. Dump camping in cities and allowing open drug use.

Keep a concern for due process in criminal justice. Dump letting shoplifters and other petty thieves off the hook.

Do all of the above and they might find their way back to power.

Pierre: Right wing talking points? Yeah, the Republicans support a woman’s right to choose, want to slow climate change and support vaccines. What color is the sun on your planet?

Ha ha! I have seen you post the above on other threads

Totally agree!

Looks like you are taking a page from Cato the Elder (Carthago delenda est)

Keep it up and maybe the Democrats will pay attention

Sigh, and this is a laundry list of misconstrued right-wing talking points. Now I’m definitely going to have to comb through this data as I will admit I did have it sent to me as an article of good faith. It’s clear that’s not really the case.

The inevitable outcome of these policies is that many will avoid blacks and Latinos when they are looking for a doctor, lawyer, etc. Why wouldn't they??

Or these drs chose to practice in their own communities which will then have substandard medical care. Everyone wins?

Everyone will have substandard medical care unless there is a doctor over the age of 50 around still practicing. Medical school education has been watered down overall, focusing on touchy-feely stuff and less on A & P. They were never very good at teaching health, just what to do about sickness. An example is lack of actual training on what makes us tick: food, nutrition, exercise and right living (drugging/drinking/screwing around indiscriminately and other disease producing activity). They are only taught what pills to give for what symptoms.

To be realistic, that would imply these groups are largely represented or sought out otherwise. DEI may be bad but let’s not pretend the conditions for it were made up. There’s obviously a huge disparity in scoring and therefore opportunities at play here as well as the fact that racism does actually exist.

the reason why we getting this craziness is that the "Civil Rights Movement" have morph into a "enteral cultural revolution" that must never end. But the problem with a never-ending revolution that you run out of heads to cut.

The only way to maintain high standards AND insure the correct percentage of diversity is to begin real education at a very young age, making it equal for all races.

Help the children that are not getting help from parents, home and community. Give these children the tools needed to succeed beyond their racial upbringing. Get them out of the disadvantage hole they were born into.

Protect the standards of our institutions and professions. Do not lower standards for any reason.

This must be a bottoms up process or we will continue to loose both the top and bottom. It will take time, but it will not require loss.

Okay, but the frustrating thing is you never proposition how to fix the disparity. I mean you just potentially showed how minorities are recognized as underscoring in many areas? Isn’t that just as concerning? Why are we only here for the symptoms and not the cause?

I think truancy has a lot to do with it, but even that is a symptom as well. Try googling "truancy rates by ethnicity" and check out what the AI Overview says. I would say that absentee fathers is one of the main issues but did not see that included in the AI Overview.

OMG! I knew about the MCAT and LSAT but all the other “adjustments” to requirements means that we will be unable to find competent professionals in so many fields of endeavor that we will have to be our own sleuth to find someone we can trust to help us should we need a lawyer, doctor, social worker, and on and on. It is mind-blowing, actually.

A ubiquitous problem that feeds much of our social and political divides as there is rampant intellectual dishonesty within the upper class left community to fight to prevent the admission of basic human difference other that the fake physical appearance and societal bias claims they make... because admitting the former destroys their entire non-profit and political power and money-making scheme that is necessary as they have been over-educated and there are not enough jobs for them otherwise.

The other related problem is that merit does not magically happen with a degree in victim studies. That has been very troubling to the upper class that expect to be paid well just because they have achieved that degree that mommy and daddy paid for, or else they took out tens of thousands of student loans for.

So DOWN WITH MERIT!

One thing to consider is that our population of Whites is decreasing as fertility rate is declining. So the pipeline of those heading to med school, law school, engineering may be declining substantially.
